Cerberus Swim Classic
March 1 @ 8:00 am – March 31 @ 12:00 pm
The date for the 2024 Cerberus Swim has not yet been finalised but we expect it to be early March.
It is an annual open water swim event held in Half Moon Bay, Victoria. The swim is hosted by the Half Moon Bay Surf Life Saving Club and is the final event in the Great Victorian Swim Series.
The swim is usually held in late February or early March and offers two distances; 1.2 kilometers and 2.5 kilometers. The 2.5 kilometer swim circumnavigates the Cerberus shipwreck, a decommissioned Royal Navy warship that is now a protected heritage site.
We think it’s one of the best open water swims around and are making it a focus event for the club. That just means we want get as many club members and supporters out for the event as possible.
