Here are the details for the annual Lorne training weekend. All members are welcome. Places are limited (max 16), so be Quick!!! Contact Mike to book your place by 7th Dec. 
When: Friday 18th to Sunday 20th December 2009
Where: Staying at the Lorne YHA Backpackers
(The Great Ocean Road Cottages separate mens and ladies rooms)
Cost: $90 INCLUDES - two nights accommodation (minimum stay is two nights)
- supervised training sessions
- a cooked breakfast on the Sunday morning

"Dear Tarryn Sport Leadership Grants and Scholarships for Women Your application for a grant under the 2009/10 Sport Leadership Grants and Scholarships for Women has been successful, subject to the terms of this letter. The Australian Government is pleased to provide these grants through the Australian Sports Commissison (ASC) and the Office for Women to women throughout Australia. An overwhelming response for applications was received for the Sport Leadership Grants Scholarships for Women. You have been awarded $500 to undertake your nominated course or development opportunity..." |

You may recall some months ago, Eltham Triathlon and Open Water Club sent a s special consignment to the Solomon Islands triathlon club. The shipment consisted of 22 boxes containing 10 bikes; 40 pairs of runners and sundry other useful stuff for triathletes. A huge thank-you has been received from the Tri Solomon Islands team members as they begin to make good use of the equipment received. Happy racing from all of us here at ETOWC! The cargo ready for dispatch...

A huge congratulations to ETOWC member Peter (Rutledge) & Angela (Panettieri) who tied the knot on Saturday 30th May and celebrated in style with friends and family at The Prince (Circa) in Acland St, St Kilda. Well done guys from all of us at the club and best wishes for a long and fun-filled life together. We trust you'll both have a wonderful and relaxing honeymoon in Bali and please try not to spend too much time thinking about us more unfortunate folk getting up for those early morning swim sessions in wintery Melbourne. ENJOY!
