What a great finish to our main racing season! Perfect weather for triathlon came with the dawn and we were there with our new Race Marquee and almost 50 club members to participate in and support the last of the Brooks/Gatorade Series. Eltham Tri had over 30 race entries our best effort ever and the results were there at the end of the morning. In the Brooks Race 6 Leonie Huber (F18-29 2nd), Mara Ferraro (F40-49 2nd) took podium places and in the Gatorade Race 6 Ryan Constance (M20-24 2nd), Brendan Canty (M15-19 3rd) and Nicole Blythe (F15-19 3rd) all took the podium. Cam Simon won the M35-39 series and is well pleased with his Garmin HR-GPS prize. Michael Sandford stepped up to the plate with his first ever Gatorade entry. Congratulations to all who competed. It was brilliant day's racing. Perhaps a few more minds are turning to the duathlon Winter Series and to building a fitness base for next year.
