Brighton Swim Classic

With very rough, wet and windy conditions we set off on the Brighton swim classic. Leanne Sheean was off first and came in second with a big smile on her face.

The Men’s race was tough as Mike Gowan was taking on Kiwi Magic who competed in the Olympics for Butterfly. With a super start Mike was at the lead, but fitness proved to be the winner as the other swimmers roared ahead. A sting ray on the bottom and many waves crashing into his head saw Mike finish with a 4th. Rumour has it that Mike may have been duped out of 3rd place by another competitor who 'found' a short cut.

A huge congratulations to Maiken Sedunary for an outstanding first Sea swim. A top 10 finish is Awesome!!!!

Mike Gowan did take a spectacular catch for the prize giveaway so you may be the winner of some Christmas treats.
