**On Saturday 21st January we had 5 club members racing in the Echuca Twilight Triathlon. The sun sure did come out, and at race start around 5pm it was still 34 degrees.
ETOWC member Darren Morrison travelled the distance to compete in his first triathlon, finishing in a time of 1.17.51. Well Done Darren!
Other results: D'Wayne Hogan 1.08.18, Anna Ryan 1.24.35, Brett Smythe 1.07.57, Michael Stanford 1.20.42.
All our members were decked out in the new ETOWC uniform, and from all reports they looked fantastic and so did our tent!
**On Australia Day Paul Attard competed in the Williamstown Open Water 2km swim. Turning up with only minutes to spare before race start, he had a great swim in choppy conditions swimming the 2km in 29.18.
**Don't forget drinks at Walks Bar in Eltham this Friday from 6.30pm.
**Please provide us with your ideas/suggestions on what training, social events, fundraising etc you would like to see
see around the club.
Happy Training
